Left to right, Mayor McCrary, standing. Rear Admiral Percy W. Foote of Houston, seated. Standing behind him are Lieutenant Harold Banks of Dallas, Commissioner T. W. McDaniel, and H. Chester Walsh, Houston Four men are standing and one is seated in a well-appointed room with two framed works of art on the wall. The framed on the left has a portrait of Fort Worth Star-Telegram publisher Amon Carter, the other frame contents are indistinguishable. Mayor I. N. McCrary is a corpulent man in a suit, smoking a cigar, standing to the left of three men in uniform. Adm. Foote is seated, wearing a uniform with a white shirt and dark tie and military ribbons on his chest and braid on his cuffs. He is holding a rolled parchment-looking paper. Directly behind him on the left is Banks, in a uniform with white shirt, dark tie, and a startled expression. To the right is McDaniel, in a uniform with a decoration ribbon in the breast, wearing a white shirt and dark tie. On the far right is Walsh, in a dark single breasted suit with a striped shirt and a polka dotted tie. In his hand is a smoking pipe. Stacks of books are behind McDaniel and Walsh. A brocade sofa is behind McCrary, and the window has sheer curtains and a pulled-back heavier drape. The walls have painted paneling and there is a lamp behind McDaniel. Clipping: "Rear Adm. Percy W. Foote of Houston, seated, was principal speaker Wednesday as Fort Worth celebrated Navy Day. Standing, Lt. Harold Banks of Dallas, aide to Admiral Foote for the day; Comm. T. W.
