Clipping: "Seven Fort Worth Girls Closer to Becoming WAVES Several Fort Worth girls, four of them war workers, Saturday were a step closer to becoming WAVES. They were taken to Dallas in a Navy station wagon for final tests and physical checkup before completing their applications, which, if approved, will result in assignment to Hunter College, New York, for training. The four war workers, however, will have to wait 60 days before entering service under the new manpower restrictions.
