Description

Football Carter Riverside and Poly action shot. Frank Smith, Amon Carter Riverside quarterback, broke loose for a first down on Poly's 40-yard line Friday night on this play. A good block placed by Leo Holliday (55) on Corky Farris of the Parrots helped the play go. Poly won, 13-0. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 9, 1943.
