Description
Aubrey Lee Blackburn, aviation machinist mate, first class. After being overseas for 23 and a half months, Mr. Blackburn arrived for the most important engagement of his naval career - his marriage to Miss Nora Whyburn, Temple. In the photograph, Mr. Blackburn stands in front of a bare wall. He is wearing a United States Navy sailors uniform. On the left side of his uniform is his campaign ribbons for the South Pacific and American Theaters of War in addition to a Defense Medal. He is smiling and looking at the camera.
