Description
A themed War Bond Drive is being held in Fort Worth, Texas, by the Junior Chamber of Commerce to support the war effort. Hosting the "Law West of the Pecos" Court, left to right, are J. B. Panter, Chief Justice Atwood McDonald, and Marvin Brown. Miss Madeline Crimmons was hailed into the court on a "trumped up" charge and is shown paying off the charge in exchange for a $25 war bond. She is reaching in her stocking for the money. Mr. Panter is a committeeman with the Jaycees. He is dressed in a hat and a button-up shirt. Judge McDonald is the Chief Justice of the Second Court of Civil Appeals. He is standing behind a podium, wearing a straw hat and a dress shirt. Mr. Brown is a district attorney and a Jaycee. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, button-up shirt, trousers, cowboy boots, and a holster.
