Description
Mrs. E. H. Bursey, chairman of the Red Cross knitting department, packed the last of the emergency order of 1,000 pairs of trigger mittens with rifle fingers, called by the War Department for the cold climates. The triggers mitts were completed in exactly four weeks and she was thankful for all knitters of Fort Worth for helping meet an emergency order. Published on September 7, 1943.
