Miss Carolyn Herman will leave Fort Worth for Hunter College, New York, to begin training as a WAVE. She has accounting experience with a contracting firm and formerly worked for a packing firm in Des Moines, where she was graduated from a business school. Miss Herman is the daughter of Mrs. Anna M. Hunter of Des Moines and she has one brother, Maurice, in the Air Forces. In this picture, she is wearing a button down dress with a belt on her waist. Recruiting of WAVE applicants will be intensified in Fort Worth for a week. Applicants will be interviewed by a WAVE recruiting officer and must have two years of high school, no dependents under 18 and must be from 20 to 36 years old.
