Description

E. P. Costello is relocating the Costello Ranch to Palo Pinto County despite years of history in Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas. His 233-acre island was covered by the lake waters when the Possum Kingdom Dam was built, making it difficult to continue his business. The barge Mr. Costello used for transportation to and from the mainland is shown at the bank. The barge transported people, livestock, and supplies. A group of five people are shown on board.
