Description
The Boston College Eagles and the Clemson Tigers are facing off in the 1940 Cotton Bowl. Charles Timmons, sophomore fullback for the Tigers is pounding through Boston's line with the ball. Joe Zabilski, number 44 in white, is a Boston guard. He is grabbing Timmons around the middle and bringing him down. The Boston players running in to assist are End Dick Harrison (23) and Fullback Pete Cignetti (12). The Clemson Tigers went on to win the game by a score of 6-3.
