Description
Dr. Judge M. Lyle is testing his theory by putting red-lensed glasses on this pheasant. The glasses aren't to help the pheasant's vision, but to reduce the bird's ability to see the color red. This would make him unable to detect blood spots on his companions and curb the bird's cannibalistic tendencies.
