    Description

Striking upper grade students of Lake Worth High School are picketing the school. They are demanding principal and social science teacher V. E. Ramsey be rehired. Principal Ramsey is standing between two of the placard-bearing students. He is dressed in a suit, without the blazer. Marie Horton and Carl Stewart are holding the signs. Other strikers and elementary students are crowding around the picketers. The signs read, "We want a modern school not a country school. Ramsey's the man who can do it!" and "We the students demand Ramsey."
