    Description

    The fishing season opened at midnight on Eagle Mountain Lake. Three fishermen found the crappie biting from the docks at the Boat Club. Inaugurating the new season, left to right, are Mrs. Ruth Hare, H. E. Oakes and Mrs. H. E. Oakes. They are shown proudly displaying their bounty. Mrs. Hare pulled out the first fish, 14 minutes into the season. She is wearing a peaked cap, jacket, and trousers. Mr. Oakes is dressed in a hat, collared shirt, sweater, and trousers. Mrs. Oakes is wearing a sweater, coat, and a plaid skirt.
