L. D. Kinard is shown knelt down in the middle of his victory garden. On the ground in front of him is a dug out row of dirt where he is planting a seed. Beside him is a box of more seeds. Mr. Kinard is wearing trousers and a long-sleeve button-up shirt. Behind him is another row of dug up dirt, as well as a picket fence.
