    Description

Mrs. Arthur J. Jones and her four-year-old son, Jimmie Jones, are new residents of Fort Worth, Texas. The family moved to Texas in July of 1942, from Nebraska. Mrs. Jones intends to become a defense war sheet metal worker, given that she passes the height and weight requirements for Consolidated Vultee Aircraft's training school. She and her son are shown sitting on a striped couch. Jimmie is holding a balloon. He is wearing a striped t-shirt and overalls. Mrs. Jones is wearing a dotted blouse underneath a dark jacket and a skirt. Hanging on the wall behind them is a framed painting of flowers.
