Lieutenant and Mrs. Edward C. Smith were married March 14, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas. They are pictured before leaving on a trip en route to Fort Clark, where Lieutenant Smith is stationed. Mrs. Smith is wearing a blouse with a ruffled collar, a blazer and a skirt. She is holding a purse, a pair of gloves and a coat. Lieutenant Smith is wearing his military uniform. Behind them is a window with the blinds open and curtains pulled aside. Also in the background is a table and a lamp. Mrs. Smith is the former Miss Mary Adele Landreth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Landreth.
