In the Connell Memorial Baptist Church nursery playroom, Larry Hammons is shown handing a box of graham crackers to Sue Nell Williamson as they play with a toy stove. Mrs. T. R. Howard, member of the church committee on the nursery, is sitting in the background, supervising the children. Also in the playroom is a toy kitchen counter and sink and a small cabinet filled with canned goods. Sue is wearing dark overalls with a striped shirt underneath. Larry is wearing dark trousers and a long-sleeve shirt. Beside Mrs. Howard is a large window with the curtains pulled open.
