Shown standing at a vantage point on the mezzanine floor of the Blackstone Hotel are three cattlemen who attended the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association convention. They are, left to right, Dolph Briscoe, Frank S. Boice and A. E. Gates. They are all wearing suits and Mr. Briscoe is wearing eyeglasses. Mr. Briscoe is is a past president of the association. Mr. Boice is president of the American National Livestock Association. Mr. Gates is a director of the cattle raisers' association. In the foreground is a chair and a potted plant. Standing in the background is an unidentified man wearing a suit and a cowboy hat.
