Description

The first name out of the hat at the drawing for the Gold Medal basketball tournament belonged to the Burkhart Grocers. Nelle Taylor (center, standing on a table) did the drawing. With her were Hugh Inman (left) and Harry Taylor of the Fort Worth Recreation Department. Both men are wearing dark suits. Nelle is wearing a blouse and a pinafore dress. Mr. Inman is holding the hat that Nelle did the drawing from. She is holding up the piece of paper from the hat. Mr. Taylor is holding a pen and an open book.
