Description

New officers of the Texas Wholesale Grocers Association were elected at the closing session of the organization's two-day convention at Hotel Texas. The new officers were, left to right, F. D. Phelan, of Beaumont, Texas, vice president, U. C. Sterquell, of Waco, Texas, vice president, and J. W. Shugart, of Fort Worth, Texas, president. Two men at the far left are unidentified. The group of men are standing in front of an empty wall, wearing dark, double-breasted suits. The two unnamed men are also wearing eyeglasses.
