Description
W. G. Powell is one of the first Fort Worth grocers to get a chart and instructions for grocers from Mrs. Ed Warren Junior, secretary to Postmaster, at the post office. Mr. Powell is at the counter while Mrs. Warren hands him the value chart. Mr. Powell is wearing a brimmed hat, a pair of glasses and a dark suit while Mrs. Warren Junior is wearing a dark, striped jacket with a beaded necklace. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 22, 1943.
