Description

Oakhurst School Doll show. Joy Valentine (left) and Joy Magers, shown with group of dolls. The two girls are smiling and laughing with each other as they hold a huge bundle of dolls in their arms and laps. Behind them more dolls can be seen lined up and being displayed. The dolls varied in shape, size and look, however many of them are female dolls wearing dresses and bonnets. The two girls are wearing skirts and large collared tops. Joy Valentine is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Valentine and Joy Magers is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Magers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 13, 1943.
