Description

The Texas A&M Aggies faced off against the Tulane Green Waves for the 1940 Sugar Bowl. Two All-American Aggies are sitting on the bench with their mascot for the day. Left to right on the bench are John Kimbrough, Martin Power, and Joe Boyd. Kimbrough, number 39, is a fullback. Martin is from Jacksboro, Texas. he is dressed in a collared shirt, necktie, "JHS" sweater, and trousers. Boyd, number 64, plays tackle. Kimbrough rushed for both touchdowns in the Aggies' 14-13 victory. The Aggies managed to finish the season with a undefeated record and a National Championship.
