    At the Eagle Pass Army Air Field dedication is Lieutenant Colonel R. G. Vaughan stationed in Wichita, Kansas, pinning wings on his son, Second Lieutenant Bruce G. Vaughan, who was a member of the first graduating class of the Training Command. They are standing in front of an empty wall while Lieutenant Colonel Vaughn pins the wings on the right side of his son's uniform jacket. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 16, 1943.
