Former residents of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Denzell L. Gill and baby, Caroline are living in Fort Worth while Lieutenant Gill is stationed at the Fort Worth Quartermaster Depot. Mrs. Gill is shown sitting on a dark couch with her daughter sitting close beside her. She appears to be reading a children's book to her. Caroline is pointing to something in the book and has her mouth open. Mrs. Gill is wearing a dark dress with a lace collar and Caroline is wearing a lighter-colored dress that is short-sleeved. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition February 21, 1943.
