Description
Winners in the recent membership contest among teams from the East Fort Worth Lions Club who demanded service when losers waited table at a dinner at Glen Garden Country Club. Left to right, seated, Felix Bransford, Jack Burge and Harrell Ashburn, members of the winning team, who had two waiters. The waiters, left to right, are Elmo Reeves and T. C. Mitchell. They are wearing white aprons and paper chef hats, and a folded white cloth on there right forearms over their suits as they place plates in front of the men seated at the round table. The men seated at the table are also wearing suits and neckties. Ashburn is wearing eyeglasses. Additional people can be seen sitting at booths along the wall in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 12, 1943.
