Preparing for the United Service Organization (U. S. O.) Valentine's Dance are, left to right, Miss Jeanie Gracey, Private Andrew Olenick, Miss Louise Wilds, Yeoman Harlan Beck, Miss Betty Cavender and Corporal Allen Bramkamp. The couples are holding up two large heart-shaped decorations, which are embellished with doilies. Private Olenick is with the Marine Corps Air Station. He is wearing his military uniform. Yeoman Beck is with the Coast Guard and is stationed at Woodshole, Massachusetts. He is wearing his military uniform. Corporal Bramkamp is with the Army Air Forces, stationed at a base near Austin, Texas. He is wearing his military uniform. Miss Gracey is wearing a polka-dot print blouse and a skirt. Miss Wilds is wearing a floral print dress and a necklace. Miss Cavender is wearing a dark-colored dress with sheer paneling at the shoulders and a necklace.
