Description
Sergeant James Lowry of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, watching a girl play the piano. Sergeant Lowry has his arm resting on top of the piano with his head leaning onto his hand. He is sitting close to the girl playing piano and listens with a slight smile on his face. Sergeant Lowry is dressed in military uniform while the unnamed girl is wearing a checkered skirt with a small cardigan over her blouse. In front of her are a few sheets of music and on top of the piano are a soldier's hat and a guitar with other sheets of paper scattered about. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 14, 1943.
