The 1943 Golden Gloves State Tournament will be held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in the tournament and representing the city is Aaron Barker. He is a student at Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) and a favorite in the heavyweight class. Barker is sporting a black eye from his winning bout in the District Championship. He is shown walking around campus, dressed in a suit and his letterman jacket.
