Description
The daylight robbery of the Morris Plan Bank occurred early Thursday morning. Two witnesses to the holdup, left to right, are Miss Jimmie Boggess and Mrs. Woodrow Atkinson. Both women are tellers at the bank. The "nitroglycerin" bandit handed Mrs. Atkinson a typed note, demanding $1,000. Miss Boggess was standing nearby and advised Mrs. Atkinson to comply. The estimated loss is between $200 and $500. Miss Boggess is wearing a button-up blouse and a brooch. Mrs. Atkinson is wearing a blouse, brooch, and a skirt.
