Description
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn L. Rose and children, Lora Fae (in the arms of her father), Glenna and Arthur. Mrs. Rose is shown sitting at an organ while the rest of of her family stand around her. The 80-year-old organ came to Fort Worth with them when the family moved from Wagoner, Oklahoma. Mr. Rose is wearing a long-sleeve shirt and a patterned tie; Mrs. Rose is wearing a long-sleeve, dark dress with a collar; Arthur is wearing a pair of overalls with a shirt underneath; and Lora Fae and Glenna are both wearing small dresses. The organ is decorated with family pictures and a few knickknacks. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 15, 1943.
