Description

Boxers in the Fort Worth, Texas, area are preparing for the 1943 Golden Gloves District Tournament. The competition will be held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Putting in some gym work at the Panther Boys Club, left to right, are Robert Ballew and Andy Eagleton. Ballew is receiving pointers from Eagleton, a two-time Golden Glove State Champion who is retired from the competition. Ballew is training on a speed bag. He will represent North Side and Consolidated in the district tournament.
