Description
Boxers in the Fort Worth, Texas, area are preparing for the 1943 Golden Gloves District Tournament. The competition will be held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Putting in some gym work before the Christmas holiday, left to right, are Oliver Ball, and Bob Norred. Mr. Ball is the instructor at the Panther Boys Club. He is instructing Norred on how to deliver a left hook to the "body" of the heavy punching bag. Mr. Ball is wearing a button-down shirt and trousers. Norred is wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants.
