Description
The Fort Worth, Texas, chapter of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (A. H. E. P. A.) is hosting a war bond drive. Promoting the event, left to right, are Charles Dixie, Private John Vergis, Pete Deer, and Tom G. Vatsures. Mr. Dixie is the chapter president. He is dressed in a double-breasted, three-piece suit. Private Vergis is a native of Whitesville, West Virginia, and is currently stationed at Camp Wolters. He is wearing his military uniform. Mr. Deer is chairman of the event. He is dressed in a suit. Mr. Vatsures bought a $1,000 bond payable to his sister, Mrs. Elenia Hristou Metres, in Greece. He is wearing a suit.
