Description
Texas Wesleyan College (T. W. C.) is holding a special commencement for those serving in the armed forces. In attendance at the graduation are Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Piper of San Antonio, Texas. They are long-time friends of the college. Mrs. Piper wrote the words and melody for "Prayer for Peace," a song delivered during the ceremonies. She is wearing a hat, blouse, fur shawl and gloves, and her eyeglasses are hanging off a chain around her neck. Mr. Piper is dressed in a three-piece suit. Sitting beside and behind Mr. and Mrs. Piper are other attendees at the ceremony.
