    Description

Nancy Leigh Armstrong is the eight-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Armstrong. Nancy Leigh is shown with rolls of pennies, totaling 1,875 cents. The pennies were stashed in her bank, which was started before her birth. Nancy Leigh is exchanging the pennies for a war bond to help relive the penny shortage. She is shown sitting on a desk, wearing a bonnet, dress, shawl, and booties. She is holding two rolls of coins in her hands and there are more rolls on the table.
