    One hundred ten newsboys gather at the Elks Club enjoying their annual Thanksgiving dinner. At the dinner, Monroe Odom, West Seventh streets news vendor, reading cablegram from Amon G. Carter, publisher of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, who is in London. Odom is standing next to a United States Flag on a pole. Odom is wearing a plaid jacket and dark corduroy pants.
