    Description

    Ray Blades is the second year manager of the St. Louis Cardinals. During his first season the team had a record of 92-61. They finished second in the National League to the Cincinnati Reds. Blades spent ten years as a left-fielder with the Cardinals before becoming manager. He is sitting in the clubhouse dressed in a Cardinals' road uniform before their exhibition game against the Fort Worth Cats.
