Description

Firemen remained at the scene of a fire at the Gillam Soap Works most of Tuesday night. The firemen are standing at the left corner spraying water and the flames. The upper windows are glowing as smoke billows from the top. Despite the firemen's best efforts, the blaze destroyed the plant. A majority of the plant's output was in U. S. contracts.
