Description

Ida Belle Hicks using telephone. Ms. Hicks is seated in the center of the photograph taking notes down as she talks to someone on the telephone. She is wearing a tan dress and a tied collar, earrings, a ring in the shape of an oval sun on her right ring finger, and a wedding ring on her left ring finger. She is holding the telephone with her right hand and is taking cursive notes with her left hand. Ms. Hicks is seated at a desk with the telephone on her right, a book and papers in front of her, a typewriter to her right, and another desk with papers and a hat behind her. She is looking down as she takes notes. In the background are other individuals seated and working at desks. In the very back of the photograph windows can be seen.
