Description

Captain Saint Clair McKelway is a foreign war correspondent. On Friday morning, he sat down at his typewriter as the new assistant public relations officer for the Flying Training Command of the Army Air Forces. Captain McKelway was inducted into the new position in New York, New York. The former newspaper man worked as an associate editor of the New Yorker magazine before volunteering for service. He is also the writer of the famous "Profiles." He is shown in his Fort Worth, Texas, office. He is smoking a cigarette and wearing a military uniform.
