Description
Scurry County Rodeo. "The women folks really do enjoy the modern rodeo although that entertainment for years was largely for men. Shown here, left to right, are Helen Mays of Ozona, Texas; Wynona Hutcherson of Sonora, Texas; and Bill Lou Tompson of Snyder, all found at the Scurry County Rodeo where Miss Tompson was hostess to the out-of-town sponsors." The three young women are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the open sky behind them. Helen is wearing a double-breasted blouse and a skirt. Wynona and Bill Lou are wearing western-style shirts, slacks, and hats.
