    A. L. Shuman (left) and Charles F. Roser examine a slab of Ceylor crude rubber which is being donated to the scrap rubber drive being led by President Roosevelt. "A. L. Shuman, left, and Charles F. Roeser examine a slab of Ceylon crude rubber which Shuman collected while on a tour of the East Indies several years ago. He has donated it to the scrap rubber collection campaign. It is a piece of Number 1 Pale Crepe. Roeser is chairman of Region 3 under the Office of Petroleum Co-ordinator for War which is aiding the oil industry in co-ordinating the collection campaign." The two are together holding and inspecting the piece of scrap rubber. Office buildings fill the view of the window behind them.
