Description
"This pile of abandoned tires, typical of the kind sought in the scrap rubber collection drive which opens Monday, was located by The Star-Telegram photographer in Handley, Texas. President Roosevelt has asked that these and others like them be turned in for reclaiming." Tires, along with what appear to be automobile axles, mufflers and other automobile scraps are lying in a field. The parts appear to be used and temporarily forgotten.
