Description
"Above, 70 members of the United States Navy and Coast Guard as they were sworn into service Sunday afternoon as Avengers of Pearl Harbor in ceremonies at Burnett Park". 70 men stand facing to the left of the camera as they hold up their right hand and swear into service. Within the crowd you can see several individuals in their military uniforms, and women watching the ceremony. In front of the 70 men are 6 children who are standing and sitting on the grass and watching the ceremony. The various men swearing in are wearing slack and button up shirts, or suits. In the background a small treeline is visible with city building behind them. Some umbrellas can be seen in the crowd.
