Image shows Russell Coulter, left, and John W. Barriger, right, seated next to each other on the couch. Barriger, associate director of the division of railway transport of the Office of Defense Transportation in Washington, was in town to address the Southwest Shippers Advisory Board on the railroads' handling of swelling volume of war traffic, particularly war materials rolling out of factories in increasing volume. Both men are wearing suits. Mr. Barriger is wearing eyeglasses. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 4, 1942.
