Description
Frank Kuban is standing proudly with a United States flag used in World War I. "This flag carries bullet holes of World War I. It held the place of honor at a Czech Red Cross benefit recently arranged by Frank Kuban, shown here with the flag." Mr. Kuban is standing while partially opening the flag, which is fringed and mounted onto an indoor flag pole, for the camera. Mr. Kuban appears to be in his diner, and there are several framed posters behind him, including a man holding up a beer, a print of a city, and advertisements for milk, Budweiser and Pearl beers. A Butterfinger candy bar can be seen in the candy case in the counter.
