Description
Dorothy Brown and Sergeant Nelson Wurtz, of the coast artillery at Camp Wallace, Galveston, Texas, will attend the United Service Organization (U. S. O.) dance and Mother's Day party hosted at the Young Women's Christian Association (Y. W. C. A.). Miss Brown is wearing a short-sleeve blouse and a floor-length skirt and has her arms linked around Sergeant Wurtz's right arm. Sergeant Wurtz is wearing his military uniform. At the left, beside Miss Brown, is a chair. At the far right is an end-table. On top of the table is a Bible and a doll. On the back wall is a map of the United States, a clock that is advertising Haltom's Jewelers, and a sign that reads, "Help Win The War - Guard Your Speech / Idle Words --- May Reveal Vital Information."
