Description

A group of soldiers are listening to Wynona Keller (left) play the saxophone and to Ellen Marie Gallagher sing, as the young women practice their performance for the United Service Organization (U. S. O.) dance at Hotel Texas. The soldiers are standing behind the performers, gathered in a semicircle. They are, left to right, Sergeant Malcolm Sippy, Corporal Ralph Collins, Sergeant Edwin Mason, Sergeant Archie Wilson, Corporal Ray Woods and Sergeant Kenneth Martz. They are wearing their military uniforms. Miss Keller is wearing a sweater with an embroidered design down the center and a floor-length skirt. Miss Gallagher is wearing a dress with a full skirt and thin shoulder straps. She is holding a sheet of paper and is standing behind a microphone.
