    These wives of Santa Fe Railway employees will have charge of activities at the new United Service Organization (U. S. O.) room at Santa Fe Station. Standing behind a couch, left to right, are Mrs. W. W. Bedford, Mrs. A. L. Ferguson, and Mrs. R. F. Lutker. Seated on the couch, left to right, are Mrs. Jack Burge, Mrs. W. M. Cox, Mrs. Leon W. Wellman and Mrs. Vernon E. Pickard. On either side of the couch, against the back wall, is an end-table and a lamp. The women are all wearing U. S. O. armbands on their left arm. Mrs. Bedford is wearing a dark-colored dress and a necklace. Mrs. Ferguson is wearing a dark-colored, long-sleeve dress with a wide, eyelet patterned collar and a multi-strand necklace. Mrs. Lutker is wearing a polka-dot dress. Mrs. Burge is wearing a dark-colored dress. Mrs. Cox is wearing a blouse and a skirt. Mrs. Wellman is wearing a blouse, blazer and skirt. Mrs. Pickard is wearing a striped blouse, blazer and a skirt. Pinned to her blazer lapel is a horse-shaped brooch.
