Description
Mrs. B. L. Farner, who arrived in Fort Worth, Texas, a week prior with her husband, commanding officer of the new Army machine records unit in the city, went right to work at the United Service Organization (U. S. O.) center at Hotel Texas. She is shown checking the coat of Private William T. Spake, of Mobile, Alabama, who is in town on a three-day pass from a signal corps unit at Camp Bowie. She is standing behind a counter, holding Private Spake's coat. She is wearing a blouse and a blazer. The soldier is wearing his military uniform.
